Projects

I’m always charged by the right client fit.  These are a few of my favorite recent assignments.

Now online at the Jordan Hospital website:

It felt great to use the screenwriting skills I honed at Yale and in Hollywood to help other women!   For this  joint project with RA Vision Productions, I stayed present to the emotional and physical health of women affected by breast abnormalities.

Online NOW:

Writing anything that promotes environmental responsibility and personal empowerment gets me jazzed.  That’s why I jumped at the chance to write the user-friendly content for TopTenUSA.org.  Visit their site to find out how your appliance & auto purchases can make a difference for the earth!

ON SALE NOW:

“Thought leader”, Bart Wendell piqued my curiosity when he approached me to edit his book.  Once I read the first chapter of his manuscript, I was hooked.  Working on this project afforded a great opportunity to share my editing skills, as well as learn from a master in business leadership.  Bart says, “Once someone has convened a meeting, his leadership will never be the same again.”

I say: once you read this book, your leadership will never be the same again!  Click the icon to order it at Amazon.

ONLINE NOW:

The first project I did for the Office of School Partnerships at UMass Lowell and the Northeast STEM Pipeline, gave me the chance to create a unique online learning experience for kids, educators and families.  What a thrill!

STEMmatters launched in fall 2010.   I continue to produce, edit and write the content for each issue of the webzine.  In 2011, STEMmatters was nominated for the National Science Teachers’ Association’s Faraday Science Communicator award.  Working with a fantastic, creative support team makes it possible.

MESSAGING STRATEGY:

Funded by a National Science Foundation grant, the Vibes & Waves in Action fellowship program involves graduate students in K-12 classrooms.  Attracting fellowship applicants was my charge.  Creating a new look and feel started with developing the message.  Next step: creating a logo and printed collateral.

OTHER PROJECTS

Boston Analytics: working with JWDewitt Business Communications, I created web content for this site.

Conscious Cow: I launched the environmental blog in 2008, and continued writing it through mid-2010.

Solstice Sing for Peace:  In 2008, I founded a worldwide grassroots movement for peace, and garnered the endorsement of Pete Seeger.  Starting with events on 5 continents, Solstice Sing for Peace has grown, with events in 15 countries at last count.

I started out writing, but soon found my calling to be more than words. Ideas translated more aptly describes what I do.
