I’m a writer, educator, and award-winning social entrepreneur. During my decade as a journalist, I published 188 articles and essays in outlets throughout North America. In 2018, I published my first novel and a nonfiction book. Merging my passions for love stories and environmental stewardship, I now write contemporary romance novels with environmental themes that I publish under the pen name Tara L. Roí. I produce visual & written content for all media. Need help on a project? Work with me.
Fun fact: I’m also an RYT-200 certified yoga instructor.

My wife and I live in Boston, and we have a daughter with developmental disabilities who lives in New Haven. For over six years now, Rebekah has, in addition to her creative writing, teaching and studying, served as a life coach and mentor to our daughter who lives independently but needs help with organization, medical appointments and negotiation of unfamiliar situations. In all aspects of her work with our daughter, Rebekah has demonstrated responsibility, creative problem solving, dependability, kindness, patience and empathy. I have no reservation in recommending her.
