Each year, I accept a few freelance projects from non-profit organizations, individuals, and select businesses. My services include writing, editing, content creation, messaging strategy, website design, creation and updates (WordPress and Shopify only), project management, and content development. ESTIMATES, RATES & TERMS
ESTIMATES
Once we discuss your project, I will provide a written estimate based on my hourly rate and number of hours I expect your project will take. The scope of the work is stipulated in the document.
If I start your project and you add more work, your final bill will be higher than the estimated amount. If you want to know how much higher, please ask me when you add the extra work. Otherwise, I will proceed with the understanding that you expect to pay more.
We surely have benefited from Rebekah’s work on our website. We receive a lot of compliments on it, in terms of how much information people can find on it and how clear it is in communicating who we are. This year we enrolled a record 66 new students, and we continue to have more and more families engaging with us online.

RATES
My rates are based on my level of expertise and the cost of living. Rates went into effect on February 1, 2024 and are current. I do not offer exceptions or discounts.
NonProfit Rates
I provide the above services for non-profit organizations at a rate of $153 per hour.
Individual Rates
I provide the above services for individuals at a rate of $162 per hour.
Business Rates
I provide the above services for businesses at a rate of $171 per hour.
Rush Charges
When you’re on a tight deadline and need writing or editing services quickly, I can help. However, such projects require me to work late nights and/or on the weekend. Should you require project completion on a short timeline, I charge a 10% rush fee on the total bill.
PAYMENT TERMS
I charge all new non-profit and business clients and individuals (whether new or existing clients) a 50% deposit on the estimate provided. After that, I will invoice monthly, or upon completion of the project if I deliver it within a month.
Invoice terms are net zero. I send all invoices by email, so we both have clarity about when the invoice was sent and received. Net zero means I expect a payment to be generated upon receipt of the invoice.
Payments received within 30 calendar days of the invoice date are considered on time.
Payment Plans
In select circumstances, I will offer a payment plan. However, I must receive your request for a payment plan before I begin work. If you have received your invoice, it is too late to request a payment plan.
Late Payments
If I have not received your payment 30 calendar days after the invoice date, I will send a reminder.
If I have not received your payment 60 calendar days after the invoice date, I will send a new invoice with a 10% late fee added to the total bill.
If I have not received your payment 90 calendar days after the invoice date, I will send a new invoice with an additional 10% late fee added to the total bill.
If I have not received payment on the final bill within 10 business days of the invoice, I will send your bill to a collections agency. No exceptions.
Rehiring Me After A Late Payment
If you have paid late in the past and want to hire me again, I will only begin work once I have received full payment on the estimate. If the project requires more work hours than anticipated in my estimate, or if you add new material or request more deliverables mid-stream, I will need to work more hours and will bill you monthly for the additional time. Payments are due upon receipt of the bill via Zelle, PayPal or Venmo (addresses are in each invoice). No checks. In this circumstance, if I do not receive prompt payment on a follow-up bill, I will cease work on your project.
